Intelligent Stress Monitoring Assistant for First Responders

This paper describes a prototype of an intelligent Stress Monitoring Assistant (SMA), - the next generation stress detectors. The SMA is intended for first responders and professionals coping with exposure to extreme physical psychological stressors, e.g. firefighters, combat military personnel, explosive ordnance disposal operatives, law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians, paramedics. impacts human behavior decision-making, which can be propagated between team members. integral part Decision Support System, it component decision support perception-action cycle. We model this cycle as cognitive dynamic system. designed using a) residual-temporal convolution network learning data from sensors detection features, b) reasoning mechanism based on causal fusion at various levels. has been tested multi-factor physiological dataset WEarable Affect Detection (WESAD). In both modes, recognition detection, achieves accuracy 86% 98% WESAD dataset, respectively. performance superior known results in satisfying requirements reliable support.
